Hi there! I’m Kara, and I’m so glad you’re here. If you have a dream or a goal that feels just out of reach, I’ve been there. And trust me, you CAN get there.
My story starts fresh out of law school when I packed my bags and moved to Philadelphia, ready to take on the legal world. Within just three years of earning my license, I was managing a large medical device mass tort and several multimillion-dollar class actions at a mid-size plaintiffs’ firm. It was a whirlwind, and I loved every (crazy) second of it.
But then, life took me back to my roots. I moved back home to Washington State and decided to do something bold—I started my own women-run law firm from scratch with just $2,000 in my pocket. Scary? Of course. Worth it? Absolutely. By year four, that firm was hitting multiple six figures, and growth came year after year.
Why stop there?
The entrepreneur in me couldn’t resist a new challenge. I launched a short-term rental business in 2022 with no experience, and it’s been thriving ever since.
Here’s what I can tell you from everything I’ve learned: building something meaningful from the ground up takes a lot of grit, a touch of humor, and the belief that you don’t need all the answers to start.
When I’m not helping women achieve their business goals through legal expertise, you’ll find me cozied up with a good book (half the time it’s inspiring business insight, the other half it’s crime fiction—I believe in balance!), or spending time with my incredible husband, our (growing) family, and our pets.
Through my businesses, my passion is clear—I want to see women win. Whether that means scaling their dream venture, creating financial independence, or thriving in balancing personal and entrepreneurial life, I’m here to help.
